Hello there, I’m Jack Graynger, and along with my wife Joan we’ve set up this little blog about our story with investing in Calgary foreclosures. We’ve been investing in Calgary real estate for about 10 years now, aside from our primary residence. We’ve had a lot of fun along the way and a lot of headaches too.

In the first 5 or so years, investing in Calgary real estate was a no brainer (as our teenage son likes to say!). We were making money hand over fist. You know what we’re talking about if you’re familiar with the Calgary housing market this past decade or so. However, the last couple or three years have been more challenging. We just haven’t found it as easy to invest well in rental income properties.
The market has softened. In fact one of the homes we bought in ’07 we’re now technically underwater on. Just a bit, but enough that we had to start changing our tack. So we’ve been looking into Calgary foreclosure properties with great success. We’ve found 3 terrifically valued that we’ve bought and are seeing them pay for themselves. But it wasn’t always like that. In fact, we owe much of our success to this great course that we found that has really helped us take our real estate investing strategies to the next level.
Great thing is, it’s all about finding Calgary foreclosures and deals with other markets in the Canadian west. We recommend you have a look at it. Especially if you’re serious about investing in real estate for the long term.
